Terms of use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. General provisions

These general terms govern the use of www.t3games.si and the content, features and services connected with it (the portal).

By using the portal, the user confirms that they have read and accept these terms. If the user does not agree with them, they must not use the portal.

The T3 GAMES portal publishes and provides journalistic, informative, entertainment, professional and promotional content relating to video games, gaming platforms, technology, films, series and other forms of digital entertainment. Content is generally available free of charge, unless a particular service or piece of content expressly states otherwise.

2. Portal operator and provider

The operator and provider of the portal is:

GT skupina, trgovina in mediji, d.o.o. Poljska cesta 4 2204 Miklavž na Dravskem polju Slovenia Company registration number: 3489477000 Tax number: SI22146458 Email: info@gtmediji.si

In these terms, GT skupina, trgovina in mediji, d.o.o. is referred to as the provider, and a person using the portal as the user.

3. The user and permitted use

The user is any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the portal, whether they view content, use a user account, post comments, send messages or use another portal feature.

The user agrees to use the portal:

  • in accordance with these terms, applicable law and public order;
  • in a way that does not harm the portal, the provider, other users or third parties;
  • without interfering with the security, availability or proper operation of the portal;
  • without bypassing technical restrictions, sign-in procedures or other security mechanisms.

In particular, the user must not:

  • publish unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory or otherwise harmful content;
  • publish content that infringes the privacy, personality rights or intellectual property rights of others;
  • publish unsolicited advertising messages, malicious code or links to dangerous or unlawful content;
  • falsely present their identity or act on behalf of another person without proper authorisation;
  • collect, process or publish other users' personal data without an appropriate legal basis;
  • use automated tools to extract, copy, index or otherwise collect portal content on a mass scale, unless permitted by applicable standards, robots instructions or the provider's prior written permission.

4. User accounts

If the portal allows registration or sign-in, the user must provide true, accurate and up-to-date information during registration. The user is responsible for protecting their password and for all activity carried out through their account.

The user must promptly inform the provider of suspected unauthorised use of the account or another security incident. The user must not give their username, password or other sign-in details to third parties unless a portal feature expressly provides otherwise.

The provider may temporarily restrict or terminate an account or individual feature where necessary for security, maintenance, a legal obligation or a breach of these terms. The measure must be reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances. Where possible, the provider will inform the user of the reason and duration before or after taking the measure.

5. Comments and other user content

If the portal allows comments, ratings, reactions, reports or other user submissions, the user who submitted a post is responsible for its content.

The user warrants that they have all rights and permissions required for the published content and that the submission does not breach the law or third-party rights. The user grants the provider a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free permission to host, technically process, display, moderate and archive the submission to the extent necessary to operate the portal and comply with legal obligations. The user retains all rights granted to them by law.

The provider may reject, hide, remove or disable access to a submission where it considers this necessary because of a breach of these terms or applicable law, third-party rights, security or the quality of the discussion. Where necessary or required, the provider may give the user an explanation of the measure.

Unlawful or disputed content may be reported to info@gtmediji.si. A report should include the most precise link or location of the content available, the reason for the report and contact details for any follow-up. The provider will handle reports within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

6. Copyright and other intellectual property rights

Portal content, including text, photographs, graphic elements, videos, audio, design, logos and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Rights belong to the provider or to other rights holders, as indicated for the individual content.

Names, logos, characters, recordings, screenshots and other elements of individual games, films, series, gaming platforms or other products may be protected trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. Publication on the portal does not transfer those rights to the user and does not mean that the provider is connected with the owner of an individual right, unless the content expressly states otherwise.

Viewing content for personal, non-commercial use does not grant the user ownership or a licence to that content. Without the prior written permission of the rights holder, the user must not in particular:

  • reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, adapt or commercially exploit content;
  • systematically copy or store portal content;
  • remove notices of authorship, source or rights;
  • use content to train, develop or test automated systems where such use is not permitted by applicable law or express permission.

The restrictions in this section do not affect rights granted to the user by applicable law, including the right to quote and link to publicly available content where the statutory conditions are met.

7. Content about games, films and series

Information about games, devices, gaming platforms, films and series is provided for general information. Prices, availability, system requirements, release dates, features, ratings and other details may change, so before purchasing or using a product the user should check current information with the publisher, developer, retailer or another competent source.

Content may contain spoilers, depictions of violence, frightening scenes, strong language or other elements that are not suitable for every user. The user, or a parent or guardian, is responsible for assessing whether content is appropriate for the user's age and circumstances. Where an age rating or warning is shown, it should be observed.

The portal is not a provider of an individual game, gaming platform or online gaming service unless a particular service expressly states otherwise. The provider is not responsible for user accounts, online servers, updates, in-game content, in-game purchases or the rules of third-party providers.

8. Editorial, promotional and advertising content

The portal may contain editorial content, advertisements, sponsored content, affiliate links, product presentations, trailers or other commercial publications. Promotional content is labelled appropriately where required.

Information in editorial and promotional content is not individual legal, financial, health, technical or other professional advice. Before making an important decision, the user should verify the information with a suitable professional or the provider of the product or service.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenient access to additional information. The provider generally does not control the content, availability or rules of third-party websites and accepts no responsibility for them.

9. Paid content and services

If the portal offers paid content or services, the essential information will be clearly presented before an order is placed, including the price, taxes and any additional costs, payment method, access period and cancellation or withdrawal terms where applicable.

Consumers have the rights provided by applicable law. If express consent is required to start providing digital content before the withdrawal period expires, the provider will give the appropriate notice and obtain confirmation in accordance with applicable regulations.

10. Availability and technical operation

The provider aims to ensure continuous and high-quality operation of the portal, but does not guarantee that the portal will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or software.

The portal may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, outages at infrastructure providers, security incidents or other circumstances beyond the provider's reasonable control. The provider may change, temporarily restrict or discontinue content, features, the structure of the portal or the method of access.

The user is responsible for their device, software, internet connection and other conditions required to access the portal.

11. Limitation of liability

The provider strives for the accuracy, currency and reliability of published information, but does not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free or suitable for every purpose. The user uses the portal and its content at their own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the provider is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data, loss of income, loss of business opportunities or other damage arising from the use or inability to use the portal, third-party content, links to third-party websites or the operation of external gaming services.

This provision does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury and consumer rights.

12. Privacy notice

Controller: GT skupina, trgovina in mediji, d.o.o., Poljska cesta 4, 2204 Miklavž na Dravskem polju, Slovenia; info@gtmediji.si. This notice describes the T3 GAMES website as operated on 29 October 2026.

Data we process and why

  • Website visits and security. Accessing the site technically involves processing the IP address, time, requested page, and browser and device information. This is necessary to deliver pages, protect the site from abuse and diagnose errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare provides hosting and security. The site keeps daily aggregate article view counts for the last 31 days. To limit repeated requests it uses hashed technical identifiers; the raw IP address is not stored with article view counts.
  • Accounts and sign-in. For an account, we process the username, email address, display name, role, securely hashed password and session data. The legal bases are providing account and editorial access (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and protecting the account (Article 6(1)(f)). Public creation of new accounts is currently disabled. The sign-in cookie lasts 14 days. We retain account records while the account is needed or until deletion, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
  • Messages. If you contact us, we process your email address and message to respond and handle the request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)), or steps before entering a contract where the inquiry concerns one (Article 6(1)(b)). We retain messages while needed to handle the matter, and afterwards only where required by law or for legal claims.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M1LY3ELP9N) loads when you allow analytics cookies. It processes website visit and usage data for statistics and improvements. The legal basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Retention of user-level and event-level data depends on the setting in our GA4 account, which cannot be determined from the website code. You can request the currently configured period at the email address above. Cookie lifetimes are listed below.
  • Advertising. The iPROM advertising technology loads after a cookie choice has been recorded. If you reject advertising cookies, the site tells iPROM that consent was not given; if you consent, it may enable ad personalisation and campaign measurement. Adform and Gemius technologies may also be used to measure individual ads. The legal basis for optional advertising storage is consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Showing ads without that storage relies on our legitimate interest in funding the site (Article 6(1)(f)). Technology details appear below.
  • Embedded content. Articles may contain YouTube players and posts from other platforms. We display YouTube videos in Privacy Enhanced Mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Opening an article can still connect the player to YouTube, which receives technical visit information; playing the video may also cause YouTube to set its cookies. The provider's privacy terms apply to its subsequent processing.

Recipients and transfers. To the extent necessary for each service, data may be received by Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (Analytics and YouTube), and iPROM (advertising). Adform or Gemius may also receive data to measure individual ad campaigns; we did not detect their tags during the checked visit. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. The Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum and Google's international transfer information describe their safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to a specific processing activity.

Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookies” link in the page footer; this does not affect processing before withdrawal. Send requests to info@gtmediji.si. You may complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. Data needed to deliver the website or sign in is required for those functions; analytics and personalised advertising are optional. The site does not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is data stored by your browser and sent to the relevant domain. The site also uses browser local and session storage. Lifetimes may be shorter because of browser settings, manual deletion or provider changes. The list below is based on the website code, provider documentation and a browser check on 29 October 2026.

Necessary and functional technologies

  • __Host-t3games_session — t3games.si; provides sign-in and a secure session for account holders; 14 days from sign-in, removed on sign-out. Set only when signing in.
  • t3-cookie-consent-v1 — t3games.si local storage; remembers the analytics and advertising choices and the date of the choice; until changed or browser data is deleted.
  • t3-language-choice — t3games.si local storage; remembers the selected language; until changed or browser data is deleted.
  • t3games-viewed-articles-session-v1 and t3games-read-articles — t3games.si session storage; prevent duplicate article view counts and adjust related article suggestions in the same tab; until that tab session ends.

Analytics with consent

  • _ga — t3games.si, Google Analytics; distinguishes visitors; default lifetime up to 2 years, which the browser may shorten.
  • _ga_M1LY3ELP9N — t3games.si, Google Analytics; maintains visit state; default lifetime up to 2 years, which the browser may shorten.

Advertising and embedded content

The site loads iPROM after a choice has been recorded. Its public measurement-code documentation lists UID (iprom.net, up to 12 months), _ifpcid and _ilsid (first-party cookies, up to 12 months), and _issid (session) to identify browsers, measure campaigns and personalise ads after consent. This documentation does not establish that each cookie is set on every visit to this site; we did not observe them during the checked visit. Technologies may vary by ad campaign.

Adform and Gemius: ad measurement technologies whose tags and cookies may be used in individual campaigns. Adform's cookie list describes several technologies with different lifetimes, and Gemius's policy explains measurement on websites. They are listed separately from iPROM; their public policies do not establish which technologies a particular campaign on T3 GAMES uses. We did not detect requests to them during the checked visit.

We display YouTube videos through youtube-nocookie.com, which YouTube describes as Privacy Enhanced Mode. We did not detect YouTube cookies before playback in this mode during our check. YouTube may set its own cookies when a video is played; cookies observed with the previous standard embed included YSC (session), VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-YNID and __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN (approximately 6 months). Google uses them for video functionality, preferences and analytics, and may also use them for advertising depending on your settings. See Google's cookie notice. Articles without such embeds do not load these cookies through this feature.

You can change your choice for analytics and advertising cookies through the “Cookies” link in the page footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser. The T3 GAMES choice window does not control cookies that YouTube or another embedded-content provider sets on its own domain.

14. Notices and communication

The user may contact the provider at info@gtmediji.si. Messages containing personal data should be sent only where necessary to handle the user's request.

If the user subscribes to newsletters or other notifications, they may unsubscribe at any time in the manner stated in the individual message or by emailing the contact address. Unsubscribing does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

15. Changes to these terms

The provider may change these terms because of changes to the portal, services, legislation, technical solutions or the business model. The new version is published on the portal and takes effect on the date shown at the top of the document, unless stated otherwise.

If a change materially affects the rights or obligations of registered users, the provider will notify them in an appropriate manner where required by applicable regulations or by the nature of the change.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, unless mandatory provisions provide otherwise.

The user and the provider will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably. Consumers also retain all mandatory consumer-protection rights, including rules on court jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of other competent authorities.

17. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to its purpose and complies with applicable law.

These updated terms take effect on 29 October 2026.
